    Atlas Professionals are currently recruiting for an experienced Offshore Telecoms Technician to support operations on a major UK offshore asset on an initial 12-month contract.

    Job description

    This is an excellent opportunity for a telecoms professional with upstream oil & gas experience to join a high-performing offshore operations team, responsible for maintaining the reliability, availability, and integrity of critical telecommunications systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Carry out planned and corrective maintenance on offshore telecoms systems.
    • Diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting activities to minimise operational downtime.
    • Conduct inspections, testing, calibration and system repairs as required.
    • Support maintenance planning and execution of work programmes.
    • Provide technical input into root cause investigations and equipment reliability improvements.
    • Manage maintenance documentation and update maintenance management systems.
    • Liaise effectively with offshore and onshore teams, including specialist vendors and contractors.
    • Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, environmental and quality performance.
    • Requirements



    Candidates should possess:

    • Proven offshore telecoms technician experience within the oil & gas industry.
    • Strong knowledge of maintenance, testing and fault-finding of telecoms equipment and systems.
    • Good organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Vocational qualification in Electrical, Electronic or Instrument Engineering.
    • Current and valid:
    • BOSIET/FOET (or equivalent Offshore Survival)
    • Offshore Medical
    • MIST
    • COMPEX Ex01-Ex04 certification
    • Eligibility to work in the UK.
