Working offshore means operating in a structured rotational schedule, typically spending several weeks offshore followed by time at home. This balance allows you to build a strong career while maintaining time with family and life onshore.
It is a unique, high-performance environment where teamwork, discipline and safety are essential every day. You work closely with an international crew, relying on each other to keep operations running safely and efficiently.
Life offshore requires commitment and responsibility. In return, you gain valuable experience, develop technical skills and build a long-term career in a global industry.

Starting your offshore career with Noble is a structured and supported process. From your first registration to your first day offshore, our team in Suriname will guide you every step of the way.

Start your Offshore Career
Once selected, you will begin your journey with Noble, supported by Atlas NextWave from onboarding through to offshore deployment.
New to the offshore industry? The Greenhands Offshore programme is your starting point. It is built to support motivated candidates in Suriname with training, guidance and real experience, helping you take your first step into a professional offshore career.

Start your offshore career with Atlas NextWave and Noble. In this one-day Greenhands Offshore event, you will be introduced to offshore drilling and life on a rig, learn the basic safety requirements, take part in Safety & Risk Awareness training including situational awareness, join an interactive workshop on risk management, and complete an aptitude test to assess your potential.
Places are limited to 40 participants per day, and selection will be based on your profile and motivation.

From your first training to your first assignment offshore, this is a structured pathway. Through programmes like Greenhands and direct opportunities with Noble, you can move step by step into a professional offshore career. You don’t need to have everything figured out from the start. With the right mindset, you will be supported through each stage, from initial onboarding and training to your first experience offshore.
As you progress, you take on more responsibility, develop technical skills and become part of a professional offshore team working in a high-performance environment. This is not a one-time opportunity. It is a long-term pathway, designed to help you grow, develop and build a career in a global industry.

Follow the latest updates, partnerships and local initiatives as we develop the next generation of offshore professionals in Suriname.
Working offshore offers more than just a job. It provides a stable and well-paid career, with competitive salaries, structured rotations and long-term development opportunities.
Professionals benefit from financial stability, valuable international experience and the opportunity to build a career in a global industry. With time offshore and time at home, you can build a career while maintaining balance in your personal life and supporting your family.
This is a career that supports not only your future, but the wellbeing and stability of those around you.

Working offshore is demanding. It requires discipline, responsibility and the ability to perform in a high-pressure, safety-critical environment. The rotational lifestyle and time away from home are not suited to everyone. You work in a structured schedule, often spending several weeks offshore before returning home.
Life offshore requires focus, teamwork and the ability to perform consistently in a professional environment. It is not always easy, but it is highly rewarding for those who are committed. But for those with the right mindset, it offers a unique opportunity to build a strong, stable and long-term career in a global industry.

We are not only building offshore careers, we are building the team behind it. Atlas NextWave in Suriname is growing, and we are looking for ambitious, commercially driven professionals who want to play a key role in connecting Surinamese talent to global offshore opportunities. Whether you already have experience in recruitment, or you are working in a commercial, HR or operational role and ready for the next step, this is your opportunity to be part of a fast-growing, international business.
You will work with global clients like Noble, support large-scale workforce projects, and help shape the future of offshore recruitment in Suriname.
