Atlas NextWave, and the companies belonging to this group, provide specialist services and consultancy to various clients operating in the Energy, Marine & Renewables industries, operating worldwide. The Board of Directors are responsible for determining the Environmental Policy and objectives of Atlas NextWave. All staff and candidates are responsible for complying with the policy and procedures set to meet objectives.
It is the policy of Atlas NextWave to maintain an adequate level of care for the environment, including the prevention of pollution, and to enact internal guidelines that allow us to continuously improve environmental management while creating environmental awareness, and to enhance environmental performance. Atlas NextWave set short, mid and long-term targets to reduce energy consumption and GHG emissions, thus reducing our impact on climate change. Atlas NextWave seek to achieve Net Zero Carbon Emissions generated from our operations by 2035.
The policy also enables Atlas NextWave to utilize global “Reduce, Reuse & Recycle” principles wherever and whenever possible to minimise waste. Atlas NextWave is committed to fulfilling our compliance obligations that are related to conserving, strengthening and revitalising our Environment.
The safety of operations, including environmental discharge, shall be monitored and reviewed by senior management on a quarterly basis. Environmental impact shall be reviewed on an annual basis, with objectives and targets tailored to address significant environmental aspects.
Aligned with our sustainability & ESG goals, environmental objectives and targets are set and reviewed annually, to measure performance, and to identify opportunities for any possible improvement. Atlas NextWave aim to achieve our Environmental objectives to the full satisfaction of our clients, staff and candidates. The management mystem of Atlas NextWave is certified to ISO 14001:2015 standards and is integrated into our core activities.
Atlas NextWave has agreements in place with various clients to ensure that candidates have the means to work in a manner that maintains care for the environment within their scope of operations. Atlas NextWave aim to prevent accidents and cases resulting in environmental damage. In order to maintain a safe and healthy working environment, both candidates working at our client’s sites and office staff are required to conduct their duties in a safe and sound manner, maintaining respect for the environment and abiding by all applicable rules and regulations.
Atlas NextWave recognises that due to its activities as a service provider, environmental regulations cannot be limited to the Atlas NextWave Environmental Policy alone and must also include Client’s requirements and instructions in the field of environmental management.
Atlas Nextwave values the importance of working with candidates being competent to carry out their tasks as required by our clients in an environmentally friendly manner. Atlas NextWave therefore aims to obtain and pass on to its candidates, all available information so that they can ensure the work they are performing is completed in a manner that aligns with our corporate and legal environmental goals.
The environmental policy is reviewed annually by senior management, for continued suitability.
