Atlas NextWave’s Brazil office is once again taking part in Rio de Janeiro’s Contribuinte Incentivador cultural incentive programme. This marks the fourth consecutive year that the team has chosen to direct part of its municipal tax contribution towards cultural projects that deliver positive social outcomes.

Investing Local Taxes in Local Impact

The programme allows companies to allocate up to 20% of the municipal taxes they paid in the previous year to certified cultural initiatives. For 2024, Atlas NextWave will make R$ 81,000 available, ensuring that these funds go directly into a project with a strong social earmark.

A Tradition of Responsibility

For Atlas NextWave, the decision to participate every year is about more than compliance — it is about commitment. By consistently supporting cultural projects with a social impact, the company strengthens ties with the local community and reinforces its role as a responsible corporate citizen.

“Our ongoing participation in this programme reflects our belief that companies should contribute to the cultural and social fabric of the communities where they operate. It is a meaningful way to give back to Rio de Janeiro and its people.”

Culture as a Catalyst for Change

Each selected initiative is chosen not only for its cultural merit but also for the way it helps address social challenges, creating opportunities and access for people who need it most. Through this programme, Atlas NextWave ensures that part of its business success is reinvested into the city and its people.
