Successful offshore wind operations depend on more than skilled technicians alone. Compliance, workforce readiness and operational support are equally critical to long-term performance.

The Challenge

As Taiwan’s offshore wind market matured, Siemens Gamesa required a trusted workforce partner capable of supporting End-of-Warranty (EoW) and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) campaigns across multiple offshore wind farms, including Greater Changhua, Formosa 1 & 2, Yunlin and Hai Long.

The projects required rapid mobilisation of Siemens-certified technicians and supervisors across multiple skill levels, while maintaining strict compliance with OEM standards, certification requirements and local regulations. At the same time, workforce planning needed to accommodate fluctuating project demands across several concurrent projects.

The Solution

Atlas NextWave provided a fully integrated workforce solution, supplying technicians, supervisors and operational support personnel across multiple offshore wind developments in Taiwan.

Our support extended beyond recruitment and mobilisation. Through our Atlas4Sales (A4S) compliance platform, we managed certification verification, expiry monitoring, readiness checks and contingency planning to ensure workforce compliance at all times.

Services included:

  • Siemens-certified technicians and supervisors (L4–L7)
  • Inspection, maintenance and troubleshooting personnel
  • Compliance management and workforce readiness monitoring
  • GWO, HUET and SGRE training coordination
  • Local training partner management
  • Travel, accommodation and visa support
  • PPE management and logistics coordination
  • Dedicated back-office support and reporting

By combining workforce delivery, compliance management and operational support, Atlas NextWave helped Siemens Gamesa maintain project continuity across multiple offshore wind assets.

The Outcome

Atlas NextWave successfully supported Siemens Gamesa’s offshore wind operations across Taiwan, helping ensure workforce availability, compliance and operational readiness throughout multiple campaigns.
