The Challenge

As part of the Hai Long Offshore Wind Project, Northland Power required experienced supervisory and client representative personnel to oversee the fabrication and commissioning of Offshore Substations (OSS) at PTSC M&C in Vietnam. The project involved the construction and commissioning of multiple offshore substation assets, requiring strict adherence to quality standards, HSE requirements and DNV certification criteria. Effective coordination between the client, EPC contractor, certification bodies and subcontractors was essential to maintaining project schedules and ensuring successful delivery.
