    VP Investment Lead - Infrastructure & Energy Transition

    A global investment management firm is seeking an Investment Leader to originate, execute, and manage energy transition investments across South Korea. The role will lead acquisitions, financings, and portfolio growth while working closely with an experienced international investment team.

    Key Responsibilities

    Deal Sourcing & Origination

    • Source and evaluate energy transition and infrastructure investment opportunities across South Korea
    • Build and maintain relationships with developers, financial sponsors, lenders, advisors, EPC contractors, and strategic partners
    • Develop proprietary deal flow and identify attractive acquisition, investment, and partnership opportunities
    • Conduct market analysis and monitor emerging trends across the Korean energy transition sector

    Investment Execution

    • Lead financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and transaction structuring
    • Execute acquisitions, joint ventures, equity investments, and project financings
    • Coordinate negotiations with counterparties and external advisors
    • Prepare investment recommendations for senior stakeholders and investment committees

    Portfolio & Market Leadership

    • Support portfolio management and value creation initiatives across existing investments
    • Monitor regulatory developments, market trends, and competitive dynamics
    • Represent the firm within the Korean energy transition investment community

    Candidate Profile

    • Experience in energy transition investing, infrastructure investing, project finance, M&A, investment banking, or principal investing
    • Demonstrated track record sourcing and executing energy transition and infrastructure transactions in South Korea
    • Strong financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, and transaction execution capabilities
    • Ability to independently lead complex investment processes from origination through closing
    • Native Korean and business-level English

    Preferred Background

    • Private equity or infrastructure investment firms
    • Investment banking or project finance teams
    • Energy transition developers, investors, or asset owners
    • Strategic investment or corporate development teams within energy and infrastructure companies
