Senior HV Electrical Engineer (Power Systems)

Location: Seoul, South Korea
Start Date: ASAP

We're supporting a global engineering consultancy in the search for an experienced Senior HV Electrical Engineer to help establish and grow their high-voltage engineering capability in South Korea.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong electrical design background who enjoys being technically involved while also taking ownership of projects and helping build a local team.

The role will focus primarily on offshore wind and data centre projects, working alongside international specialists on some of the region's most exciting energy infrastructure developments.

What you'll be doing

Lead the HV electrical design for offshore wind and industrial projects.
Deliver substation and power systems design from concept through detailed engineering.
Collaborate with international engineering teams across complex multidisciplinary projects.
Work closely with clients to understand technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Support business development activities and help expand the company's presence in Korea.
Play a key role in building the local HV engineering team, including mentoring and recruiting future engineers.

What we're looking for

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Around 8-12 years' experience in HV electrical engineering.
Strong background in HV electrical design, ideally covering substations, transmission or power systems.
Experience within offshore wind, utilities, EPC, engineering consultancy or large industrial projects.
Design-focused engineers are preferred - this is not a cable engineering position.
Comfortable working in an international, collaborative environment.
Fluent Korean with good English communication skills.
