    Atlas NextWave is supporting a major UK energy infrastructure programme and is seeking a highly skilled Quality Advisor - HVDC & Platform Systems to join a critical project driving the future of power transmission.

    âš¡ About the Role

    As a Quality Advisor, you will provide project-level quality oversight across HVDC and platform systems, ensuring compliance, consistency, and high standards across complex engineering packages.
    Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will play a key role in identifying risks, maintaining quality standards, and supporting successful project delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain a risk-based overview of quality and compliance across vendor packages, including HV/LV systems, automation, and telecoms
    • Monitor and review vendor quality documentation to ensure alignment with project requirements
    • Assess and challenge build quality and workmanship, including wiring, panel assembly, and mechanical systems
    • Track, manage, and close out non-conformities and quality issues
    • Provide clear quality insights and reporting to project and discipline leads
    • Support audits and inspections at a project oversight level
    • Identify and escalate critical project risks in a timely and structured manner

    ✅ Requirements

    • Proven experience in a Quality Engineering / Advisory role within HVDC, power transmission, or large-scale energy projects
    • Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and quality management principles
    • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and directives (IEC standards, HV/LV regulations)
    • Ability to assess quality risks without direct involvement in testing or FATs
    • Strong analytical mindset with a risk-based approach
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work within cross-functional teams
