The Role
Responsible for the management of the design, engineering, supply, fabrication, transportation, installation, hook-up and commissioning of the offshore substation, including topside, jacket and associated equipment.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Lead end-to-end delivery of the offshore substation package , covering design, engineering, supply, fabrication, transport, installation, hook-up and commissioning.
- Manage Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors , ensuring contractual compliance, performance, progress, resource planning and issue resolution.
- Own budget and cost control for the OSS package, including forecasting, CAPEX follow-up, cost risk mitigation and input to budget revisions.
- Drive risk, quality and HSE management across all package activities, ensuring compliance with project standards, national regulations and mitigation plans.
- Manage package interfaces and change control , ensuring alignment across contractors, disciplines and related packages, while maintaining change and interface registers.
- Lead and support the OSS package team , including task delegation, resource planning, project meetings and enabling strong cross-functional collaboration.
- Ensure reporting, compliance and final handover , including stakeholder communication, lender/insurance compliance, project close-out and transfer to Operations.
Your Experience
- BSc Mechanical or Structural Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Project Manager certified equivalent to IPMA level B/C and/or PMI PMP.
- Minimum 10 years' experience within offshore substations, topsides, fabrication and offshore installation.
- Practical knowledge of offshore transport and installation (T&I) operations.
- Minimum two years of experience leading others or heading a project.
