    Atlas NextWave is supporting a leading subsea and offshore services organisation in the appointment of a Logistics Operations Officer to join its ROV Asset department.

    Job description

    Reporting to the ROV Logistics Manager, this role plays a key part in coordinating and supporting shipping activities for offshore vessels. You will work closely with internal divisions and external freight partners to ensure logistics operations are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with agreed logistics plans and project methodologies.


    Key Responsibilities

    As Logistics Operations Officer, you will:

    • Provide logistics and shipping support to multiple internal divisions
    • Coordinate domestic and international shipments in line with project logistics plans and methods of statement
    • Liaise with freight forwarders and transport agents in the UK and overseas
    • Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery to offshore vessels
    • Maintain accurate logistics records and documentation to a high standard
    • Support the wider site logistics project organisation under supervision

    What We're Looking For

    Experience

    • 6-7 years' experience within freight forwarding or logistics operations
    • Proven exposure to shipping coordination for complex or time‑critical operations

    Technical Knowledge

    • Basic working knowledge of UK licences and logistics compliance requirements

    IT Skills

    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • Confident user of Microsoft Office packages

    Personal Attributes

    • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
    • Clear communicator, comfortable working across teams and with external partners
    • Proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
