Integrity Manager – Topside

Job description

The Integrity Manager shall support safe, reliable and cost-effective integrity management for operated assets and projects.

The topside integrity scope covers structure, piping and containment vessels/tanks. The role shall coordinate the organization and integrity contractors to ensure inspection, assessment, anomaly follow-up and reporting are planned, executed and documented.
For the subsea production system, there is a representative that performs the integrity management, but the Integrity Manager Topside will have the overall project control towards the Integrity Contractor.

Key responsibilities

IMT coordinates in cooperation with Sustaining Facility Manager for the integrity management contract and the structural integrity management contract (in cooperation with the black trades, such as Structural, Piping and Mechanical Technical Authorities):

• Manage all top-side inspection activities related to integrity management, approximately 10-14 rotations annually.
• Act as contract coordinator for the integrity management and structural integrity management contracts, including cost and technical coordination in cooperation with the Structural Technical Authority, Piping and Mechanical.
• Coordinate daily integrity actions, technical evaluations and follow-up in line with company priorities.
• Plan and facilitate regular integrity forums, including weekly/monthly status meetings and half-yearly management reviews.
• Coordinate RBI updates and top-side inspection campaigns with the contractor and relevant Technical Authorities.
• Manage HUB interfaces, including integrity meetings, bad-actor reviews, MMMP reviews, quarterly reviews and audits.
• Coordinate MoC activities related to CIMS / Synergi Plant for topside integrity management.
• Provide integrity input to lifetime, life-extension and Integrated Asset Plan activities.
• Support annual budgets, contract strategies, cost estimates and cost-efficiency initiatives for integrity activities.
• Contribution to large capital project.
• Prepare an overall maintenance/integrity status assessment.
• Review Host lifetime extension studies.
• Review annual structural integrity reports.
• Review corrosion management strategy.
• Review RBI methodology and inspection backlogs.
• Review major equipment assessments.
• Develop a maintenance/integrity audit scope.
• Participate in a maintenance/integrity audit.

Required experience / competence

• Relevant engineering degree, or documented equivalent experience, within offshore integrity, inspection, mechanical, materials, corrosion or structural disciplines.
• Working knowledge of RBI, inspection methods, anomaly management and relevant degradation mechanisms.
• Familiarity with applicable Norwegian petroleum regulations, relevant NORSOK standards, class and verification interfaces, and governing documentation.
• Experience with integrity management systems, structured data management and document control.
• Experience with CIMS / Synergi Plant and Integrity Elements is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Norwegian language capability is an advantage.
• Experience with contractor management.
• Structured, proactive, and pragmatic working style.
• Ability to manage several campaigns, actions and interfaces in parallel within an operating-asset environment.
