HV Jointer - Offshore Wind
Location: Offshore - United States
Contract Duration: Through Late 2026
Rotation: 4 Weeks On / 4 Weeks Off
This opportunity offers long-term offshore work supporting critical cable infrastructure that connects offshore wind turbines and substations to the power grid. The successful candidates will play a key role in subsea cable pull-in, jointing, and termination activities during offshore installation operations.
As an HV Jointer, you will be responsible for performing high-voltage cable jointing and termination activities on offshore wind assets. You will support subsea cable pull-in operations, work closely with cable engineers and offshore technicians, and ensure all work is carried out in accordance with offshore safety and quality standards. The role requires strong technical expertise in high-voltage cable systems and the ability to operate effectively within offshore installation environments.
Key Responsibilities include performing high-voltage cable jointing and termination up to 66kV, supporting subsea cable pull-in operations, collaborating with offshore cable engineers and installation teams, and maintaining strict adherence to offshore safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Applicants must hold the following certifications and requirements:
* NKT CB72
* Pfisterer Size 4
* GWO Basic Safety Training (BST)
* GWO Enhanced First Aid
* GWO Advanced Rescue (training support available if required)
* Confined Space Training - Medium Risk
* Offshore Medical (OGUK/OEUK)
* Chester Step Test
* IOSH Health & Safety Essentials
* B1-OCS Work Visa (or willingness to obtain one - support available)
