We are seeking experienced FO Jointers for work in the United States. This is for a cable pull-in/testing & termination scope on a major offshore windfarm on the east coast. This contract is set to last to late 2026 and current rotation schedule is 4 weeks on/off. If you do not currently hold a US visa, we can assist with obtaining. CANDIDATES MUST HAVE OFFSHORE WIND EXPERIENCE.

Job description

Responsibilities

Perform all aspects of fiber optic cable jointing and splicing for wind turbine cable installation - This includes stripping, cleaning, cleaving, and fusion splicing of single and multi-mode fibers, as well as managing and organizing fiber optic trays and enclosures
Execute the termination and management of fiber optic cables within distribution panels, patch panels, and other connection points inside wind turbines
Conduct and assist with comprehensive fiber optic testing
Assist with the handling and management of the fiber optic elements during subsea cable pull-in operations, ensuring the fibers are not damaged during installation
Ensure all fiber optic splicing and testing equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and mobilized for offshore operations

Experience as an FO Jointer/Splicer on offshore wind projects
GWO including Advanced Rescue & Enhanced First Aid
OGUK + Chester Step Test
FO certification
Confined Space Training (Medium Risk)
US visa (B1-OCS)
