More than 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with at least 3 years of experience in the position.
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Intermediate level of English.
Responsibilities:
Manage the Work Permit (PTW) process, including issuance, follow-up, updating, closure, and cancellation, while keeping all relevant records up to date.
Coordinate daily activity planning and lead the Permit Authorization Meeting, ensuring that approved work is incorporated into the operational schedule.
Review permit documentation to ensure it is complete and valid, including risk assessments, certificates, SDS, work packages, drawings, and applicable procedures.
Verify consistency among permits, certificates, isolations, and other related documentation, ensuring full traceability of information.
Identify potential conflicts between scheduled activities and coordinate the management of simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) when required.
Keep the permit database up to date, promptly recording status changes such as issuance, suspension, revalidation, completion, and closure.
Provide support in the daily review and revalidation of permits, verifying that all required signatures, authorizations, and pre-job controls are in place.
Coordinate the handover and receipt of permits through the Permit Office, ensuring proper organization by area and facilitating communication among the relevant authorities.
Confirm that authorization documentation, isolation removal records, tag returns, and permit closure documentation are complete before filing.
Conduct field inspections and random audits to verify compliance with the PTW system, reporting deviations, omissions, or missing documentation to the responsible departments.
Manage and maintain Work Permit records, ensuring that closed documentation complies with established document control requirements.
Support Operations in the training and competency verification of personnel involved in the Work Permit (PTW) process, ensuring their understanding of and compliance with the applicable procedure.
