Wind Turbine Technician | Installation - 12 months contract
Contract | NSW & QLD
Atlas Nextwave is partnering with one of the largest global wind OEMs, which has a strong pipeline of wind farm projects across NSW and QLD. We're looking for experienced Wind Turbine Technicians to join their installation team on these projects.
You'd be on site supporting the turbine build, working alongside the subcontractors to make sure everything goes in safely and to standard. With multiple projects coming up, there's scope for ongoing work beyond your first site. Mobilisation, accommodation and a car are provided.
The role

Working with subcontractors on site to make sure turbines are built to OEM standards
Inspecting installation work as it progresses
Sorting out technical problems on the spot
Checking sites before installation starts and flagging any issues
Keeping track of tooling, equipment and transport frames
Running prestarts and training crews on lifting gear and turbine tech
Keeping quality records, as-builts and NCRs up to date

3+ years as a Wind Turbine Technician, ideally on installation
NSW A Grade Electrical Licence (interstate licences considered under mutual recognition)
GWO BST
White Card
Driver's licence
Confident reading drawings, manuals and specs
Good with paperwork and MS Office
Happy to travel and work on site
