Welders / Fitters

Job description

We are urgently looking for experienced Welders / Fitters to join our client's team for a 30-day project involving a semi-submersible oil rig currently located in a shipyard in Las Palmas, Spain.

Experience Required

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant industrial / offshore / marine / shipyard experience.
• Previous experience working on oil rigs, drilling rigs, semi-submersibles, offshore vessels or major shipyard projects is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in structural welding and/or mechanical fitting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Good understanding of offshore and shipyard HSE requirements.
• Good English communication skills.

Mandatory / Required Certificates

Candidates should hold valid and in-date certificates applicable to the project, including:

• Valid Offshore Medical -OGUK/OEUK
• OPITO BOSIET / FOET with CA-EBS.
• MIST
• Valid Welder Qualification / Coding
• Relevant Welding Procedure / Process Qualification experience.
• Hot Work / Fire Watch
• Working at Height
• Confined Space Entry
• H2S Awareness
• Manual Handling .
• Basic First Aid certification is advantageous.
• Valid Passport and appropriate right to work / work authorisation for Spain, where applicable.
