Job description

We are urgently looking for experienced General Mechanics to join our client's team for a 30-day maintenance project on a semi-submersible oil rig located in a shipyard in Las Palmas, Spain.

The successful candidates will support mechanical maintenance, overhaul, repair, inspection and installation activities on rig machinery and mechanical systems.

Mandatory / Required Certificates

Candidates should hold valid and in-date certificates applicable to the project, including:

• Valid Offshore Medical - OEUK/OGUK
• OPITO BOSIET / FOET with CA-EBS
• MIST
• Recognised Mechanical / Maintenance Technician qualification or demonstrable equivalent trade competence.
• Working at Height
• Confined Space Entry
• H2S Awareness
• Manual Handling .
• Basic First Aid certification is advantageous.
• Valid Passport and appropriate right to work / work authorisation for Spain, where applicable.

Candidates who are immediately available and hold complete offshore certification and relevant mechanical experience are encouraged to apply.
