Job description

We're seeking an experienced Senior Mechanic to join a jack-up drilling rig operating in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. This is an opportunity to play a key role in maintaining critical drilling equipment while working alongside a highly skilled offshore team in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and drilling equipment.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on engines, pumps, compressors, hydraulic systems, cranes, and auxiliary machinery.
Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective repair solutions to minimize downtime.
Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted safely and in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Mentor and assist junior mechanics while promoting a strong safety culture onboard.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and participate in planned maintenance programs.

What We're Looking For

Previous offshore drilling experience as a Mechanic or Senior Mechanic on a jack-up, drillship, or semi-submersible.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, rotating equipment, and drilling machinery.
Proven troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities.
Commitment to safety, reliability, and operational excellence.

Required Prior to Mobilization

✅ Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent U.S. Resident
✅ BOSIET + CA-EBS
✅ OGUK/OEUK Medical with a clear drug screen
✅ TWIC Card
✅ Valid Government-Issued ID and Passport
✅ RigPass or SafeGulf
