    Job description

Senior Compliance Review Consultant - APAC

Atlas NextWave is seeking an experienced Compliance Review Consultant to conduct and oversee compliance reviews across our Asia-Pacific operations.
Working closely with Operations, Finance, Commercial, HR and Legal teams, you will identify potential compliance risks and help ensure our business activities are appropriately structured and operated in accordance with local laws and regulatory requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct compliance reviews across assigned APAC countries and identify gaps, risks and areas requiring remediation.
    • Review regulatory, licensing, registration and permit requirements across different jurisdictions.
    • Review employment, manpower supply, EOR and contractor arrangements for local compliance.
    • Assess contractual and commercial arrangements from a regulatory and operational compliance perspective.
    • Maintain compliance risk registers, regulatory calendars and country-specific compliance checklists.
    • Develop practical SOPs, processes and controls for ongoing compliance and regulatory reporting.
    • Recommend appropriate mitigation measures and support remediation of identified compliance risks.
    • Support the transition and handover of established compliance processes into business-as-usual ownership.

    Regional Coverage

Initial coverage will include Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Malaysia, with potential coverage of Australia and New Zealand and future expansion into Vietnam, the Philippines and Indonesia.

    About You

We are looking for someone with strong experience in regional compliance, regulatory compliance, employment/workforce compliance, risk or compliance advisory, ideally within a multi-country APAC environment.

You should be comfortable working independently, reviewing complex operational arrangements, engaging with multiple stakeholders and translating regulatory requirements into practical business processes and controls.

Experience with employment, contractor, manpower supply and/or EOR arrangements would be particularly relevant.
