ROV Workshop Electrical Technician

Job description

As an ROV Workshop Electrical Technician, you will be part of the ROV Asset Department. You will assist in carrying out electrical maintenance on ROV and equipment systems (ROV, TMS, Winch, HPU, A-Frame, etc.)

Responsibilities:

• Gain knowledge and experience of the company's ROVs and associated equipment to assist in carrying out electrical maintenance on ROV and equipment systems (ROV, TMS, Winch, HPU, etc.).
• Assist in carrying out maintenance, repair, and upgrade activities related to workshop electrical systems.
• Become familiar with and maintain awareness of current company requirements, protocols, and policies, as well as relevant industry codes, standards, statutory rules, and regulations.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in a manner consistent with company health, safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures.

Experience:

• Proven experience carrying out electrical activities in a similar workshop environment.

Technical Skills:

• Industry-recognized training in electrical disciplines.
• Time-served electrical apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
