Production Controller

We are currently seeking a Production Controller to join an established team on a 3-month contract.

As a Production Controller, you will report to the Site Manager and act as the first-line onshore response, coordinating emergency incidents at sea or on turbines. This is a challenging and varied role where every day will be different.

Please note: This role operates on a 24/7 shift pattern for the duration of the 3-month contract, including 50% night shifts, to support scheduled and unscheduled operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Working closely with the Incident Management Team
• Remotely monitoring operational assets, logging operational data and events, and communicating and coordinating outputs to relevant stakeholders
• Ensuring robust shift handovers and cooperating with relevant representatives to clarify orders and issues
• Supporting the investigation and resolution of operational and technical problems
• Controlling safe offshore operations, ensuring passengers and vessel crew are authorised and competent for planned works
• Controlling vessel movements and establishing exclusion zones where appropriate
• Assessing weather conditions to determine suitability for the safe transfer of personnel and offshore work
• Supporting vessel management teams with vessel audits
• Liaising with relevant operators and coordinating access in line with operational requirements
• Working with technical and operational support teams to generate and provide agreed data and reports
• Creating and issuing Notices to Mariners in line with relevant consent requirements

What We're Looking For

• Computer literate with excellent analytical skills and a drive for statistics
• Knowledge or experience across Microsoft Office packages is essential
• Able to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines and take responsibility for your own work
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Driven, with the ability to work on your own initiative to achieve targets
