Process Operator Offshore

Job description

What you'll do

• Operate and monitor production and utility systems within design limits and production targets.
• Carry out field rounds, inspections, sampling, start-ups, shutdowns, and plant line-ups.
• Identify deviations, investigate production losses, and help resolve operational issues.
• Maintain accurate logs and provide clear written and verbal shift handovers.
• Prepare equipment for maintenance through isolation, depressurisation, draining, and purging; support reinstatement and testing afterward.
• Work within the Permit-to-Work system and help coordinate simultaneous activities safely.
• Contribute to risk assessments, toolbox talks, incident reporting, and improvements to plant reliability and performance.

What you bring

• An MTS-level technical qualification or equivalent, ideally in process technology, engineering, or electrical engineering.
• At least five years of offshore operating experience on production platforms or similar installations.
• Experience as both a field and panel operator in a complex oil or gas production environment.
• Strong Dutch and English communication skills.
• A practical, team-minded approach and the confidence to speak up about safety.

VAPRO C is preferred. Relevant offshore training and certifications, including NOGEPA survival and HUET, an offshore medical, Permit-to-Work, gas measurement, H₂S, firefighting and rescue, and offshore first aid, are also valuable.
