    Atlas NextWave is recruiting for a Post Process Technician to join a leading manufacturing business in Worcester. This will be a rolling PAYE contract working a 37.5 hour week Monday - Friday.

    Job description

    This role is ideal for candidates with experience in component finishing, deburring, fettling or fabrication environments who are confident using pneumatic hand tools to deliver high-quality finished products.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Carry out post-processing and finishing operations on manufactured components.
    • Remove excess material, burrs and surface imperfections using pneumatic hand tools.
    • Operate grinders, die grinders, burr tools and sanders safely and effectively.
    • Conduct deburring, polishing, fettling and surface preparation activities.
    • Inspect components against drawings, quality standards and customer requirements.
    • Identify and report defects or quality concerns.
    • Follow standard operating procedures and health & safety requirements.
    • Maintain high housekeeping standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Collaborate with production, quality and engineering teams to resolve issues.

    Essential Skills & Experience

    • Previous experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, machining or finishing environment.
    • Extensive experience using pneumatic hand tools, including grinders, burr tools and sanders.
    • Ability to work accurately while maintaining component integrity and quality standards.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
    • Ability to follow work instructions, SOPs and process documentation.
    • Good understanding of health and safety procedures.

    Desirable

    • Experience with metal components, castings or precision-engineered products.
    • Background in aerospace, automotive, defence or industrial manufacturing.
    • Familiarity with quality inspection processes and measurement equipment.
