Job description

Atlas NextWave are seeking an Oiler to join our client's semi-submersible crane vessel in the North Sea, UK, with a start date 6th October for 5 weeks.

The Oiler is responsible for assisting the Engineers and Mechanics with watchkeeping, repair, overhaul and routine maintenance work on machinery and heavy lift equipment. Performs daily equipment maintenance, general housekeeping and cleaning of Engine Room and machinery spaces as directed by the Engineer and for carrying out such orders in accordance with the applicable procedures in a safe manner.

Certification required:

BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS
OGUK Medical
Seafarer Medical
Seaman's Book
Valid Passport
Right to Work in the UK or hold UK Frontier Worker Permit
STCW Certificate of Proficiency Security Awareness
