Marine Planner

Job description

· Responsible for ensuring a smooth, safe, and efficient rig mobilisation and for maintaining rig stabilisation on location, responsible for ongoing maintenance, activities and repairs to the rig structure as well as materials co-ordination and monitoring deck crew operations and supervising crane operators.
· Ensuring a high standard of housekeeping to ensure an orderly and safe deck surface.
· Responsible for loading, back loading and relocation of equipment, parts and supplies throughout the rig and supervising cleaning, painting and construction projects.
· Maintaining the stability of the rig, proper rig position and location over the well site, responsible for the operation and accuracy of ballast control systems.
· Performing stability calculations. Also monitoring and documenting the weather calculations including wind direction and speed, visibility and sea state and advising the relevant parties accordingly.
