Atlas NextWave is supporting a leading global engineering and manufacturing organisation in the search for a Manufacturing Support Coordinator to join their Worcester-based operation.

    Job description

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused professional with experience in manufacturing, production support, inspection, or operations environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring production records, work-in-progress (WIP) and manufacturing workflows remain accurate and aligned to support operational efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Review and validate SAP Production Orders in line with established processes.
    • Identify, record and correct discrepancies within production order data accurately and consistently.
    • Coordinate the movement of Work in Progress (WIP) through manufacturing and inspection queues to maintain workflow continuity.
    • Maintain clear visibility of quality-assessed WIP and support inspection scheduling priorities.
    • Liaise with Manufacturing, Inspection and Engineering teams to resolve routine data, routing and process issues.
    • Escalate blockers and exceptions to the appropriate stakeholders to minimise disruption to production schedules.
    • Support adherence to manufacturing schedules through accurate tracking and management of production information.

    Skills & Experience Required

    • Previous experience within a manufacturing, production support, operations, inspection or engineering environment.
    • Experience using SAP or a similar ERP/production management system to manage production orders, schedules or WIP.
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow established processes accurately.
    • Good organisational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
    • Comfortable undertaking manual handling activities where required and in accordance with site safety procedures.

If you have experience supporting manufacturing operations, managing production data and coordinating work-in-progress within a fast-paced environment, we'd like to hear from you.
