Job description
This is a highly visible role with cross-functional exposure, working closely with engineering, operations, logistics, and leadership.
What You'll Do
- Lead and coordinate risk assessments (HIRA, TBRA) and integrated risk management activities
- Drive continuous improvement cycles (PDCA) and support change management processes
- Conduct internal HSE audits (ISO 45001) and track corrective actions
- Review contractor and supplier HSE compliance in collaboration with procurement teams
- Act as HSE focal point for HQ, ensuring compliance with Dutch legislation (Arbowet, RI&E, BHV)
- Support business continuity, crisis response, and emergency preparedness
- Develop and deliver HSE training, toolbox talks, and awareness initiatives
- Contribute to strengthening safety culture and workforce engagement
What You Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's in HSE, Engineering, or Risk Management
- ~5 years' experience in HSE within engineering, production, or project-driven environments
- Strong knowledge of Dutch HSE legislation (Arbowet / Arbobesluit)
- Experience with ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 frameworks
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, VCA, or similar are a plus
- Experience supporting technical or field-based operations (onshore/offshore) is advantageous
- Fluent Dutch and English
