Atlas NextWave are looking for a Roughneck to mobilise onboard a Semi-Submersible in Invergordon Shipyard on the 4th August x 3 weeks then onto a 3/3 rotation.

Job description

· Safely and efficiently performing all manual labour tasks on the drill floor and BOP area under the direction and supervision of the Assistant Driller or Driller.
· Operating the tongs, slips and spinner hawk to connect and disconnect drill pipe, tubular, casing and drill bits or tools.
· Performing maintenance of the equipment on the drill floor.
· Rig up and down procedures.
· Nipple up and down care of the BOP system.
· Monitor and operate the shakers.
· Assist the Derrickman in the mud pit, mud pump and chemical sack rooms.
· Housekeeping duties on the drill floor including washing, chipping and painting.
