Coating Fabrication Inspector / Fabrication Supervisor: Frosio level III / NACE Level 2-3 / ICORR Painting Inspector Level 3 (additional qualifications for VT / NDT will be a plus)
Senior Fabrication Supervisor for preliminarily Coating and secondarily (welding, NDT, assembly work, material logistic, etc)
The work is to oversee that our client’s Technical Standards are adhered too and to assist and support the supplier(s) in being successful with regards to deliver our products safely, in good quality and very important on time.
The role will involve work with Secondary Structures (Boat Landings, Ladders, etc) for HOW03 at Smulders Fabrication Yard in Arndonk, Belgium).
The work will required a flexible person who can schedule working time around inspections during the week so normal working time of 40 hours per week is respected.
Occasionally spot check and inspections can happen during weekends but all extra work shall be aligned and approved by Fabrication Manager prior to taking place.
The main function/responsibility of the role is “Coating” but supervision and inspection work for other disciplines (welding, NDT, assembly work, material logistic, etc) can be expected too.
The position will report to the Fabrication Manager(s) for Secondary Steel who are based in Denmark (will visit site every 1-2 months or when needed).
Candidate must bring own working clothes including PPE (safety work shoes, safety helmet, safety glasses).

+10 years of relevant work experiences from heavy duty / offshore industry (fabrication yards, pre-assembly, or construction sites.).
Technically strong, adaptable, works well individually as well in teams, strong communication abilities Good English skills – reading, writing and verbally.
Candidates already living in the vicinity will be preferred. Personal: Flexibility to work around a schedule and be on site when needed (to be coordinated and agreed upon with our client’s Fabrication Manager).
Monitor relevant activities with representatives from Contractors/sub-contractors and supervise inspectors from other disciplines who are involved in the site team.
Monitor working progress against schedule and highlight areas of concern and possible corrective actions. Assist contractor in document and correct NCR’s.
Take the lead in getting documentation from supplier(s).
Assist in Test on Completion including As Build Drawings / Documentation.
