Our client is seeking an experienced offshore wind Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join their US team on a temporary basis. Previous offshore wind commissioning experience is required and candidates must be eligible to work offshore in the US.

Job description

Mandatory requirements:

Proven commissioning experience on Offshore Substations (OSS/Offshore Transformer Stations)
Strong technical knowledge of HV, MV, or LV electrical systems
Extensive experience with electrical fault-finding, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
Hands-on experience resolving electrical and control system issues during commissioning and operation
Proven track record within offshore wind projects
Previous offshore working experience and comfortable working on a 3/3 rotation
Strong understanding of electrical safety, commissioning procedures, and permit-to-work systems
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced commissioning environment
Valid US B1-OCS Visa or US Citizenship
Valid GWO certification (all relevant modules)
Valid HUET certification
Valid offshore medical certificate, including Chester Step Test
