Job description

We are looking for an experienced Drilling Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support production operations by driving maintenance planning, asset integrity, and equipment reliability. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in drilling operations, maintenance engineering, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed maintenance plans and work instructions for drilling equipment.
• Prepare scopes of work (SOW), work breakdown structures (WBS), and maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, planning, supply chain, and QHSE teams to ensure safe and efficient execution.
• Conduct equipment criticality assessments and risk analyses to improve reliability and compliance.
• Review technical documentation, OEM product information bulletins, drawings, manuals, and asset records.
• Support procurement by preparing technical specifications and material/service requisitions.
• Assist with commissioning, modifications, inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Train and mentor local personnel while promoting best engineering and maintenance practices.

Ideal Candidate:
✔ Extensive experience in drilling operations, maintenance, or asset integrity.
✔ Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, risk assessments, and equipment reliability.
✔ Experience preparing technical documentation, maintenance procedures, and scopes of work.
✔ Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams in high-performance operational environments.
✔ Excellent problem-solving, planning, and communication skills.
