    Join a major renewable energy project with a leading global developer as a Control Engineer / Operator supporting the delivery and commissioning of critical electrical infrastructure for a large-scale offshore wind development. This role is based onshore at a new substation facility in northern Poland, operating on a project rotation and working 12-hour shifts.

    The Role

    We are seeking an experienced electrical operations professional to take responsibility for the safe coordination and control of LV, MV and HV network operations during construction, commissioning and energisation activities.
    Working as part of a high-performing commissioning team, you will lead switching operations, oversee electrical safety compliance, coordinate outages, and ensure the integrity and availability of critical power systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and control LV/MV/HV electrical operations
    • Plan and manage switching activities across the project
    • Monitor and report operational status through SCADA systems
    • Maintain accurate control logs and switching records
    • Manage electrical safety documentation and safe systems of work
    • Support commissioning and energisation of substations, cables and associated plant
    • Coordinate outages and network control activities
    • Attend stakeholder and grid interface meetings
    • Provide technical guidance on electrical safety and operational matters
    • Ensure compliance with national regulations, project procedures and industry standards

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in HV operations, switching and commissioning activities
    • Strong understanding of electrical safety rules and permit-to-work systems
    • Minimum 3 years' experience within onshore substation environments
    • Relevant electrical qualification aligned to HV authorisation requirements
    • Experience within renewable energy, transmission, utility or offshore wind projects is highly desirable
    • Ability to work effectively within a rotational project environment

    • Location: Northern Poland
    • Work Pattern: Rotation basis (2/2, 4/4 or similar project schedule)
    • Shift Pattern: 12-hour days
    • Sector: Offshore Wind / Renewable Energy
    • Start: October 2026
    • Contract: Until early 2028
