Job description

· Responsible for maintenance and repairing all mechanical equipment and mechanical devices, including diesel generators.
· Monitoring on-going repairs and rebuilds to ensure safety, proficiency and co-effectiveness.
· Approving and overseeing modifications to mechanical equipment and rig structure.
· Maintaining current drawings and updating any modifications.
· Performing daily visual inspections of mechanical equipment.
· Foreseeing potential equipment malfunctions and performing trouble shooting.
· Addressing potential hazards quickly and effectively.
· Maintaining records of all repairs and operations.
· Prioritising multiple repairs, ensuring adherence to safety and procedure regulations.
· Performing and documenting risk assessments.
