Job description

The Chief Engineer is the supreme technical authority and head of the Engineering Department. The Chief Engineer reports directly to the Master for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of all propulsion, auxiliary, jacking, and heavy-lift mechanical systems

Because the vessel is heavily engaged in offshore wind turbine assembly and installation-specifically supporting the client's massive Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) project-this role goes far beyond traditional maritime engineering to include complex industrial offshore systems.
