Business Development Director (Senior) - Logistics & Supply Chain

Position Overview

A leading global logistics organization is seeking an experienced Business Development Director to drive business growth and strengthen its presence in Korea.

This position is suited for a senior commercial professional who is well grounded in the Korean market while also having significant international exposure. The successful candidate will have experience working with major Korean corporations and multinational customers, particularly businesses with complex import/export and logistics requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead business development and strategic sales activities in Korea.
Develop new business across freight forwarding, contract logistics, and supply chain services.
Build and manage senior-level relationships with major Korean corporations and multinational customers.
Identify strategic opportunities and lead customer engagement, commercial negotiations, and account development.
Work closely with regional and global teams to develop logistics solutions and drive sustainable revenue growth.
Monitor market developments and identify new sectors, customers, and business opportunities.

Candidate Profile

Director-level or above with significant experience in logistics, supply chain, or related industries.
Strong background in freight forwarding, contract logistics, sales, commercial, and/or business development.
Experience working with major Korean corporations, particularly companies involved in international trade and import/export.
Strong combination of local Korean market knowledge and global business experience.
Experience with an international logistics company or established mid-to-large Korean organization preferred.
Strong commercial network and ability to engage senior-level customers and decision-makers.
Fluent Korean and strong business-level English required.
