    We're hiring for an Analyst, Treasury Cash Operations ASAP through the end of November, with the possibility of an extension based on business needs and performance. We're looking for candidates with 2+ years of experience in finance, treasury, or accounting, who are comfortable reading and interpreting bank statements and have strong attention to detail.

    Job description

    Summary:

    • Manage banking platforms with multiple banks
    • Process payments manually with various banks to make vendor payments and payroll
    • Upstream cash received from customers to higher interest-bearing bank accounts
    • Optimize bank fees and transfer methods (ACH and wire) to minimize banking fees
    • Investigate missing payments or system errors
    • Interface with other functions at Transocean to stage payments (intercompany and outside the company)
    • Support the investment team with daily investment process and time deposit booking.
    • Collaborate and support on treasury initiatives such as process and cost improvements, bank controls, and infrastructure changes

    Key Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Initiate and approve cash transactions across various banking platforms
    • Review daily cash positioning for upstreaming opportunities to additional interest
    • Investigate and resolve payment exceptions
    • Manage conversion between USD and foreign currencies as requested by the field finance organization
    • Optimize banking fees and rationalization of bank accounts

    Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree - Undergraduate in Accountancy, Finance, or Business

    Experience:

    • 2+ years of finance, treasury, or accounting experience, able to read bank statements

    Skills:

    • Basic knowledge of treasury processes and practices.
    • Great communication, interpersonal and customer service skills - both internal and external to Company.
    • Computer skills - Proficient with MS Word, intermediate MS Excel. Strong organizational skills.
    • Must be a team player and successfully interact with other departments.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Desirable Skills: Individual needs to have intellectual curiosity and able to think independently and quickly and have the ability to learn new concepts. Strong team player - frequently the job requires the employee to work as part of a group, with input from multiple sources such as Tax, Field Accounting, Legal and Treasury. Strong organizational skills - job requires the employee to manage multiple tasks concurrently and to resolve complex conflicting priorities. Must have a continual awareness and understanding of the company's operations and requirements in order to successfully complete tasks.

    Schedule:
    Monday - Thursday, in office.
    Friday, half day remote
