Job description

Atlas NextWave is recruiting experienced Excavator Operators for offshore projects worldwide.

You will work on advanced Rock Installation Vessels (RIV) and Fallpipe Vessels (FPV).

Your work supports offshore wind farms, subsea cable protection, interconnectors, and pipeline stabilization.

You will also contribute to scour protection and other marine infrastructure developments.

The role offers a 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off equal-time rotation.

Shifts are 12 hours, so you work in focused, well-structured campaigns.

As an operator, you control specialized offshore excavators with high precision.

Your tasks include rock placement, trench backfilling, and seabed preparation.

You work closely with survey teams, ROV personnel, and project engineers.

GPS guidance and offshore positioning systems help you meet strict installation tolerances.

Safety is always central: you follow Permit-to-Work rules and participate in toolbox talks.

You perform daily equipment inspections and report defects or maintenance needs.

Preferred brands include Hitachi, Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Liebherr.
