Interested in Greenhand Programme EU

Kick-start your Offshore career with Atlas NextWave

Following the success of Atlas NextWave UK Greenhand Programme which has been running since August 2018, Atlas NextWave have started an EU Greenhand programme to recruit professionals from across Europe.

Currently, demand from our clients vastly outweighs the supply of professionals at various roles offshore – a major one being roustabouts in the EU. Atlas introduced the Greenhand Programme, specifically designed for those who have the transferrable skills that enable them to be effective in an offshore capacity. In a notoriously difficult market for Greenhands to break into by themselves, we utilise the relationships with our clients to provide these opportunities.

Greenhand Induction Day

Atlas NextWave will be carrying out Greenhand Induction days and at these days attendees will have a one-to-one interview, aptitude tests, receive advice on life offshore and given safety awareness training by an experienced offshore Safety Officer. The interactive day will consist of:

  • Offshore Safety & Risk Awareness: Red Zone, barrier management, process safety, COSHH, risk management tools, Stop Work Authority, and injury prevention.
  • Emergency Response Preparedness: Scenario-based training, survival skills, and emergency drills.
  • Soft Skills & Professional Readiness: Teamwork, offshore communication, problem-solving, and adapting to offshore life.
  • Client & Industry Knowledge: Project expectations, timesheet management, commercial awareness, and industry insights.
