    Atlas NextWave is recruiting for a Stores Technician to join a leading advanced manufacturing organisation in Worcester. This will be on a rolling contract basis working a 37.5 hour week Monday - Friday.

    Job description

    This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced stores or warehouse professional with strong SAP knowledge and material handling experience to support a busy production environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Receive, inspect and process incoming goods from suppliers and subcontractors.
    • Book materials and components into SAP, maintaining accurate inventory records.
    • Issue materials and consumables to production teams in line with operational requirements.
    • Verify delivery documentation against purchase orders and delivery notes.
    • Conduct stock counts and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
    • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
    • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
    • Maintain a clean, organised and safe stores environment.
    • Work closely with production, purchasing and quality teams to ensure material availability.

    Essential Skills & Experience

    • Previous experience within a stores, warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment.
    • Strong SAP experience, including goods receipt and stock transactions.
    • Experience booking materials into stores and issuing parts to production.
    • Valid A5 Stacker Truck Licence.
    • Good understanding of stock control and inventory management processes.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

    Desirable

    • Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
    • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
    • Forklift Counterbalance or Reach Truck licence.
    • Experience conducting stock counts and inventory audits.
