We are seeking a proactive and organised Warehouse & Stores Operative to support the efficient management of materials, tools, spare parts and consumables at a wind farm site. This role is critical in ensuring maintenance teams have the equipment they need to support safe and reliable turbine operations.
Key responsibilities include receiving, checking and storing deliveries, maintaining accurate inventory records, issuing parts and equipment to technicians, carrying out stock counts, and ensuring warehouse areas are safe, clean and well organised. The role also involves supporting the loading and unloading of goods, reporting stock discrepancies, and working closely with site personnel and suppliers to meet operational requirements.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics or inventory management environment and possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a commitment to health and safety. Basic IT skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
Experience within renewable energy, engineering, manufacturing or industrial environments would be advantageous. A forklift licence is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided.
This is an excellent opportunity to join the growing renewable energy sector, with ongoing training, career development opportunities and the chance to contribute to the delivery of sustainable energy solutions. The successful candidate will be dependable, safety-focused and eager to learn in a dynamic operational environment.
