    Atlas NextWave are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Order Engagement Administrator to support a busy Order Engagement team within a leading engineering and manufacturing environment. this will be on an initial 12 month PAYE contract based in Ulverston, Cumbria.

    Job description

    This is a customer-focused role where no two days are the same. You will collaborate with internal teams and external customers to ensure the accurate and timely processing of purchase orders while maintaining excellent levels of service.

    Working within a fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in supporting order fulfilment activities and helping to drive operational excellence.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Process customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
    • Maintain and update order tracking systems to provide real-time visibility.
    • Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve order and documentation queries.
    • Support administrative activities including data entry and document management.
    • Provide updates on order status and respond to customer enquiries.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives designed to enhance order processing efficiency.
    • Work collaboratively across multiple departments to support on-time delivery and quality objectives.

    About You

    The successful candidate will demonstrate:

    • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
    • Strong customer service and communication abilities.
    • A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop.
    • The ability to work independently once trained.
    • Experience within a sales support, customer service, administration or order processing environment.
    • Knowledge of ERP or PLM systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
    • A business-related college or university qualification would be beneficial but is not required.
