    Job description

    Overview:
    We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager / Receptionist to support daily operations at our clients' North Houston office. This role will serve as the first point of contact for visitors while ensuring the smooth running of the office. In addition, the successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating and managing the setup of a new office space, including involvement in design decisions, furniture selection, and vendor coordination.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the front-facing representative of the company, greeting visitors and handling incoming calls and correspondence
    • Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a professional and efficient work environment
    • Coordinate office supplies, equipment, and vendor services
    • Support administrative functions including scheduling, meeting coordination, and document management
    • Assist leadership with ad hoc administrative tasks as required
    • Lead coordination efforts for the new office buildout, including liaising with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
    • Participate in office design planning, including furniture selection and layout decisions
    • Track project timelines and ensure deadlines are met for the new office setup

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Proven experience in an Office Manager, Receptionist, or similar administrative role
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Experience coordinating vendors or office projects is preferred
    • Interest or experience in interior design, particularly modern/sleek office environments, is a strong plus
