    Naval Architect / Marine Project Engineer: Seeking a technically strong marine professional with 5+ years of experience in naval architecture, marine engineering, vessel modifications, shipyard, dredging, or marine construction. Responsibilities include vessel design, fabrication support, field engineering, project management, material take-offs, procurement, and ABS/USCG compliance. AutoCAD experience preferred.

    We are seeking a technically strong marine professional who can manage projects from engineering concept through fabrication and field execution. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in both the office and field environment and possess a combination of naval architecture, fabrication, project management, and regulatory compliance experience. Candidates coming from dredging, marine construction, shipyard, offshore, and workboat industries will be most successful in this role. I have attached the job description.     Required Qualifications
    Education

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or related Engineering discipline.

    Experience

    • Minimum 5 years of Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Marine Construction, or related experience.
    • Experience managing vessel modification, fabrication, or marine equipment projects.
    • Experience supporting field engineering and construction activities.
    • Experience preparing engineering packages for ABS and USCG review.

    Technical Skills

    • Advanced AutoCAD 2D proficiency.
    • AutoCAD 3D experience preferred.
    • Strong understanding of structural and marine engineering principles.
    • Experience with material take-offs and quantity estimating.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Project and project scheduling.
    • Ability to read and interpret structural, mechanical, and fabrication drawings.
