We are seeking an experienced Marine & Structural Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support offshore asset integrity, maintenance, modification, and commissioning activities. This is an onshore-based role in Turkey, providing technical leadership across marine systems, structural projects, inspections, and regulatory compliance.

Job description

The Marine & Structural SME will be responsible for developing scopes of work, supporting project execution, managing technical queries, coordinating inspections and surveys, and ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable regulations.

Key responsibilities include oversight of:

Marine systems, including mooring, anchoring, and towing equipment
Tank systems, including ballast, bilge, fuel, potable water, mud, and greywater tanks
Safety and emergency systems, including fire & gas, suppression systems, ESD, PA/GA, and lifesaving appliances
Accommodation and welfare facilities

The role will also support structural modification projects, class surveys, flag state inspections, third-party audits, commissioning activities, and punch-list closeout.

Strong experience in marine and structural engineering within offshore environments
Experience with inspections, maintenance, modifications, and commissioning
Knowledge of SOLAS, MARPOL, MODU Code, ISM and ISPS requirements
Experience coordinating class surveys, audits, and certification activities
Ability to prepare scopes of work, technical specifications, and engineering documentation
Strong stakeholder, contractor, and project coordination skills
