Job description

Role & Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting the safe and compliant operation and maintenance of carousel, tensioner and loading tower systems during onshore and offshore projects, in accordance with applicable Operating Manuals, Work Instructions, project procedures and QHSE requirements.

Reports to the Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Support setup, operation and dismantling of carousel, tensioner and loading tower systems.
• Assist during spooling and cable handling activities.
• Perform routine inspections before and after shifts.
• Execute preventive maintenance and basic repairs within competence level.
• Support hydraulic, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Monitor pressures, alarms and system performance and report abnormalities.
• Ensure maintenance actions and defects are recorded.
• Connect and disconnect hydraulic, electrical and control systems.
• Support function testing and secure equipment for transport.
• Comply with client safety procedures, including LOTO and permit-to-work systems.
• Participate in toolbox talks and report incidents and near misses.

Competence Requirements:

• STCW 95
• BOSIET + CAEBS
• Offshore Medical (OEUK)
• First Aid
• VCA / SCC (NL)/ MIST / IMIST (UK) (as applicable)

Experience

• Minimum 2 years Cable / Carousel
• Minimum 2 years Maintenance & Repair
• Minimum 2 years Offshore experience

Education / Training:

• Electrical, mechanical or hydraulic training (MTS or equivalent)
• Internal QHSE training
