Job description

· Responsible for the maintenance of all on board electrical system.
· Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
· Ensuring reliable electrical power is provided to the rig.
· Installing, testing, maintaining and repairing rig electrical equipment.
· Working with all types of electrical systems, including hydraulic systems, pneumatic controls and related electrical devices.
· Responsible for training and supervising junior electrical staff.
· Performing and interpreting power calculations.
· Insulations tests and positive relay tests.
Coordinating with the Rig Manager on the repair and refurbishment
