Our client is seeking a CAD/Design Drafter to join their fiber optic cable project in the US.

Job description

Responsibilities:

Draft locations for conduit, vaults, handholes, poles, splice points, and transition zones between aerial and underground segments
Prepare detailed technical drawings, schematics, and plan/profile sheets for aerial and underground fiber routes (FTTx, long-haul, or 5G deployments)
Interpret field survey notes, redlines, GIS data, and aerial imagery to incorporate existing utilities and propose new infrastructure
Update drawings based on field modifications to produce final, accurate as-built records
Review drawings for clarity, completeness, and adherence to company CAD standards, engineering specifications, and safety codes

Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or GIS software is highly preferred
Previous experience on large scale projects preferred
Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
