We're currently recruiting an experienced Engineer 2 to join one of our clients' Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessels operating offshore in Poland.

The Role
As Engineer 2, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the vessel's machinery and engineering systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned maintenance, inspections and repairs on engine room machinery and associated equipment.
- Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of propulsion, auxiliary and support systems.
- Diagnosing faults and reporting equipment defects promptly.
- Maintaining accurate engine room logs and maintenance records.
- Following planned maintenance schedules and company procedures.
- Participating in toolbox talks, risk assessments and permit-to-work activities.
- Promoting a strong safety culture by identifying and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Supervising and mentoring junior engineering personnel where required.
- Working closely with the Chief Engineer and other departments to support safe vessel operations.
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will have:
- Certificate of Competency STCW A-III/1 (Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch) or higher.
- Previous experience as an Engineer aboard offshore vessels (AHTS, PSV, Construction or DP vessels preferred).
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- A proactive approach to maintenance and safety.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multinational crew.
- Good spoken and written English.

- OPITO BOSIET (including HUET) or FOET with CA-EBS
- CA-EBS & EBS
- STCW Basic Safety (A-VI/1)
- STCW Survival Craft & Rescue Boats (A-VI/2-1)
- STCW Fast Rescue Boats (A-VI/2-2)
- STCW Advanced Fire Fighting (A-VI/3)
- STCW Medical First Aid (A-VI/4-1)
- STCW Designated Security Duties (A-VI/6-2)
- GWO Working at Height (including Basic Rescue from Height)
- GWO Manual Handling
- Valid Passport
- Valid Seaman's Book
