We are currently recruiting for an experienced Offshore Cook to join our client's semi-submersible crane vessel operating in the UK (within 12 nautical miles).

Start Date: 19th August
Rotation: 10 weeks
Location: UK Waters

Due to the operational location of the vessel, candidates must either be a UK citizen or hold a valid UK Frontier Worker Permit.

Job description

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable offshore project with a leading client. Accountabilities include but are not limited to:

Preparation of the menu in an efficient, hygienic & healthy manner based on HACCP requirements.
Maintenance of safe working & cleaning practices in the galley and food storage areas.
Report any unsanitary condition to the Facility Manager
Report any defects or malfunctioning equipment
Prepare daily menus
Stop any unsafe or non-hygienic activity in the galley or food storage areas
Reject any material for food preparation not complying with the hygienic criteria
Adhere to the HMC Permit To Work system
Ensure proper shift over / take over

Applicants must hold the following valid certificates:

STCW Certificate of Competency - Ship's Cook
Frontier Worker Permit or Right to Work in the UK Documents
HACCP
Level 2 Food Hygiene
STCW Basic Safety Training A-VI/1
STCW Security Awareness Training
Updated PSSR (Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities)
BOSIET or FOET with CA-EBS
Valid OGUK Medical
STCW Seafarer Medical
Valid Passport
Seaman's Book
